This recipe can be used for dogs that are ailing, recovering from an illness or for pregnant and nursing bitches.
1 hard boiled egg
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 pieces whole wheat bread, chopped
2-3 cups high-protein kibble
1/2 to 3/4 cup ground beef or beef liver
vitamin-mineral supplement
For an ailing 50 pound dog, feed twice a day, pregnant or lactating bitches get fed four times a day. Double the size for a dog twice this size. Bon appetit!
