One in five puppies or kittens must restart their vaccine series because clients miss the window for when the next doses are due. If the client doesn’t schedule at the time of checkout at the first visit, these clients often forget to schedule the next vaccine with their veterinarian. This is when they miss the window and have to start all over again. It would be helpful if breeders and rescue leagues inform the new puppy or kitten owner the importance of this process.

A 4 year old dog= a 32 year old pers
Beyond 4 years, every dog year is equal to five human years.

I was reading about understanding dogs traits the other day. Did you know that when a dog raises it’s hackles, that this is nature’s way of making a dog look bigger and more imposing than he normally does? Makes perfect sense to me but I never knew why. Just thought I’d share.
